M.C., Griot, Trend Forecaster & Hip Hop Historian are a few names that describe this artist. From South Side Queens NY, Demorne Warren aka D- Dub grew up in the mid 1980's - 90's during the golden era of hip hop. During these years he began to sharpen his skills. After meeting Queens producer Migz, in the late 90's Demorne was introduced to Harlem producer Felix Nevarez, producer the late Roberto Yepez and Pauly On. They started recording songs in the legendary D&D studio. They would soon name their crew and label Do For Self Entertainment taken from a slogan by the Black Panther Party. Those early recordings in D&D studio laid the groundwork for their sound and some of those songs were featured on Demorne Warren's debut album "The World According To D..." released in 2006 on Do For Self Entertainment LLC. Since his debut Demorne Warren was featured on albums by The Beat Minerz, Krumb Snatcha and Producer Domingo. On "Same Game New Rules" appearing on the songs "Generate Heat" Feat. Ras Kass and Nutso, & "Gotta Get Up" In May of 2016 Demorne Warren released his album "Excelsior" on Do For Self Entertainment. Demorne Warren featured on Billy Danze's "Barclay's Music" in 2016. In 2019 Demorne Warren teamed up with Yves Saint Lyric to start the group High Frequency. Their debut "The Most High Frequency" was released September 11, 2021. Demorne Warren is currently working on his 3rd solo album coming soon. All albums are available on iTunes & all Digital Streaming Platforms.
