Biography

The instrumental group Embouchure, integrated by interpreters specialized in early music, has focused its interest in exploring the rich repertoire of the sonatas for traverso and basso continuo, of the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries. Their programs are carefully designed and combine the best of Baroque interpretation technique to bring them closer to the audience with maturity and depth. Its members (Gabriela Galván – baroque flute, and Isidoro Roitman - lute) perform assiduously in different groups in Argentina and abroad. They have been invited to participate in baroque dance and music festivals in the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Croatia, Germany, Spain, Israel, Australia, Uruguay and Brazil. They have been musicians in residence for Rostibolli Early Dance group in England. Their CD "de afectos y pasiones" with Embouchure (Gabriela Galván, traverso, & Isidoro Roitman, archlute and theorbo) with musica by Corelli, Locatelli, Hotteterre, Couperin-de Visee, de la Barre and Leclair saw the light in November 2015. Their second CD “Deutsche Delikatessen” with music by Bach, Telemann, Handel & Quantz was released in December 2018.
