Cape Town’s rising Hip Hop star, Gbaby delivers his first single for 2022 and collaborates with DSB on the track ‘Brown Skin Girl’. Gbaby once again worked with renowned SA DJ and producer DSB, who this time also features on the track. “Working with Gbaby has been an amazing journey. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him evolve into a true artist. I only see good things to come in the future for Gbaby and wish him all the best on his mission,” comments DSB. Gbaby, an up-and-coming Hip Hop/Pop artist from the mother city, has been releasing his own unique brand of music since 2021 and celebrates a theme that comes straight from the heart. Attending high school in Cape Town, Gbaby ended up in a gang, and that’s when life turned grey for him. Seeing and experiencing life behind bars allowed him to compare it to a free one. So, it was an easy decision to make and he started studying to better his life. All was going well, until 2020 when both his brother and uncle passed away. It was then that he decided to go for his dream of making music. Since then, he’s released singles ‘Blessed’ and ‘King’ in 2021 and returns in 2022 with his latest track ‘Brown Skin Girl’.
