Ole Karsten Sundlisæter (1976) graduated as a Cantor at the Trøndelag Conservatory in Trondheim (NTNU)/Norway, gaining the highest honours in solo organ playing. Study continued in Paris (at the Conservatoire National de Region in Saint-Maur-des Fosses) where he was awarded the highest awards in harmony, instrumentation and organ performance. Sundlisæter has an extensive work as a freelance composer, concert organist and conductor. In 2014 his oratorio "The baptism of Saint Olav" was premiered in Stavanger Concert Hall, and since performed in the Rouen Cathedral and in Saint Clotilde in Paris. His opera "Haugtussa i Helheim" had its World Premiere in Oslo Concert Hall in November 2015. Sundlisæter’s production as composer includes a symphony for symphony orchestra, a concerto for organ and string orchestra, chamber music and a large number of instrumental works and vocal music. His music has on several occasions been played on Radio and Television. He is a member of the Norwegian Society of Composers.
