At just 13 Sultan walked into Jamika Entertainment studio with his mum to be an apprentice and right from the get the go he impressed the team who put him to the test by asking him to jump on a track with already established acts like Star Nazzy, Yung Lord and Nexa. He duly impressed and got signed to the label. He released his first single "Feeling the sisi" there after featuring Yung Lord. Sultan is a modern day Afrobeats, Afropop artist although he started out with Hip Hop, he now infuses elements of those influences on his music to create an original style, thereby creating the alter ego Afroboy that he is also known as.
