Tokes is a duo artist from Okotoks Alberta, up in Canada. We have been making music for about 1 year now and have fell in love with it since. We have both grown up extremely musical our entire lives, but never took the step to actually create and distribute music until now. Eric grew up mostly on hard rock music, metal music, and eventually moved into some hip-hop. Connor grew up mainly on pop music, and some alternative rock. We’ve managed to combine our music tastes and create Tokes, which stems out into many different genres of hip hop. We’ve created more melodic emo hip hop, more hype melodic music, very aggressive in your face rap, and are kind of trying to mix all those genres into all of our music. We come from a small city with only 30k people and no music scene at all, so we’ve been really pushing for this year to get our name out there and our music heard.
