Darek “Oles” Oleszkiewicz is a GRAMMY nominated jazz bassist and composer, known for his versatility and profound musicality. He has received critical acclaim for his mastery of the bass and his distinct approach to improvisation. Darek has toured and recorded with numerous jazz greats, including Billy Higgins, Charles Lloyd, Brad Mehldau, Pat Metheny, Lee Konitz, Alice Coltrane, Ravi Coltrane, Peter Erskine, Alan Pasqua, Bennie Maupin, John Abercrombie, Art Farmer, Eddie Daniels, Harvey Mason, Dave Grusin, Anthony Wilson, Alan Broadbent, Janis Siegel, Larry Goldings, Trisha Yearwood, Kurt Elling, Ernie Watts, Bob Mintzer, Luciana Souza, Joe LaBarbera, Billy Childs, Bob Sheppard, George Garzone and the Los Angeles Jazz Quartet.
