LA electronic music duo Valerna formed in 2008 and quickly established themselves as rising stars in the dance music scene, immediately displaying a talent for crafting infectious beats and catchy melodies. In 2010, Valerna released their debut EP, "OQUATANZINWAN" on Tasty Bytes, followed by "Teenage Mutant Ninja Techno" on Plasmapool, which quickly caught the attention of labels and tastemakers in the electronic music world. The duo also worked with several other labels, including Dim Mak and Burn the Fire, and their music was featured on a range of compilations and DJ mixes. In 2012, Valerna cemented their status as rising stars in the dance music world when their remix of Clockwork's "Airflow" became the #1 downloaded song on the same weekend they opened for Wolfgang Gartner at the infamous Avalon show in Hollywood, alongside Skrillex and Harvard Bass. After a 10-year hiatus, RJ and Brett have reunited to create and release new music.
