Born April 15 1965 to Jamaican parents in Leeds England. Lin Strongs musical seeds began to blossom at an early age. Appearing in various variety shows as a child. Lin's love of music grew as he grew. Singing was a part of life. Growing up in England exposed him to many different musical styles and pop culture; But it was the lure of the dancehalls, and the rhythms pulsating out of Jamaica that held sway on the direction of his musical career. First chanting on local Sound Systems Maverick and Ambassador. Lin emigrated to New York at the ripe age of sixteen and soon found his niche. Developing a name for himself as a local D.J. Chanting (rapping) on sounds such as, Jubal International, Twelve Tribe of Israel sound and Studio Love. He has been singing , gracing venues such as The United Nations International Year of Peace Concert, The world famous Apollo Theater, Leeds annual Reggae Festival and local venues just to name a few. Strong continues to sing for the love of Jah in his own distinctive style of reggae. His music reflects his Jamaican roots and his British upbringing.<br>
