Joel Spencer Sullivan (guitar) and Max Turner Oestreicher (drums) met in sixth grade and have been playing music together ever since. Growing up with eclectic influences, Joel and Max developed a unique, fluid, improvisational style with elements of punk, folk, jazz, pop, and Latin. In 2016 they decided to find a way to take their unique sound out of Max’s bedroom and put it out into the world. After 10 years of honing their sound, Splendid Noises released their debut album, A Grand New World, on March 1st, 2021.
