Seda is a direct translation from the Javanese word meaning "departure from the world" or “death”. The band's very existence derives from the feeling of self-loathing and hardship experienced by the members at one point in their lives. 
 Although concentrating in the realm of down tempo deathcore and beatdown hardcore, the anger fuelled music of Seda is for any fan of extreme metal. Its blend of heavy beatdowns, bone crushing breakdowns, dark atmospheric sound designs, combined with its lyrical content on personal struggles are purposely designed to exert certain emotions of the listeners.
 The band consist of Hendro, Agung, Tama, Raga, and Michy. Currently acts as an emerging "supergroup" in the Indonesian scene, featuring current and former members from acts such as DeadSquad, Killing Me Inside, Makhlvk, Undelayed, Esoteric Revelation, Crows As Divine, Knuckle Bones, Lomba Sihir, Dunia, Glaskaca. 
 Although tied with the passion for heavy music, each member is equipped with artistic skills, each with its unique taste in preference. This then became the catalyst for Seda's creativity, thus bringing a new, darker flavor to the heavy music scene.
