Rob Ramo was born to a Boricua mother from the Mission District, San Francisco and a German-Jewish father from Brooklyn. He was raised around eclectic collection of music; from Monk to Palmieri to Funkadelic. When Rob's brother introduced him to hip hop he fell in love with it and submerged himself into Hip Hop culture. Born in the bay area on the West Coast he has lived in San Jose, Santa Cruz, NYC and Puerto Rico. He was raised visiting his family in New York and New Jersey, which sparked his desire to move over to the Big Apple, to experience the place where hip-hop and salsa were born and learn from the Puerto Rican community there. From there he moved to Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to connect and learn from Boricuas on the island. He has performed in Cuba, Puerto Rico, NYC and all throughout California for various events and has opened for Immortal Technique and Canibus. All of these experiences are what makes him the artist he is today, the "NuRican", the hybrid latino from the USA. He has been through hi and low points in his journey and that shines through his lyrics and music.
