Monster Matrix has been producing and programming music since 2004. All tracks were kept in a private location until 2017 when the 13-Year Cicada Cycle series was released (13-Year Cicada Cycle: Emergence, 13-Year Cicada Cycle: Mating Season, and 13-Year Cicada Cycle: Burrow into Darkness). Monster Matrix's style continued to develop in 2017, as can be heard in The Haunted Woods, Pt. 1 and The Haunted Woods, Pt. 2. Monster Matrix also introduced vocals mixes of previously released instrumentals on The Nature of Horror and Horrortronica in 2017, the latter of which will see a Deluxe Edition release in 2018. Monster Matrix combines horror with electronica, industrial, experimental, rock, metal, folk, pop, trap, hip hop and psychedelic music.
