Unlike many, Polo found his passion very early on in life. Music always seemed to run through him. At the age of 10 is when he started really honing his talent of writing since hearing the intricate wordplay of past MC's like Rakim, Kool G Rap, Nas, Big Daddy Kane, AZ,Mobb Deep, Capone & Noreaga just to name a few. Fast forward early on trials and tribulations that could've led him to an early grave as a youngster, he started dedicating more time to his writing at the age of 18, and finally started breaking out of his shell. Moving to Miami is when things really started to take shape in regards to who he is as an artist and what his message would be to the world. Giving his nickname since birth (PoLo) the acronym "Product of lifes obstacles" he decided that commonality, inclusion, and empathy would be his core message through his music. He's appeared on Shade45 Sirius radio, Worldstar hiphop,Complex to name a few ,to getting his latest single "Light It Up!" on 99Jamz in Miami. To top it off, he's on the radar of Republic/interscope records since flying out to L.A. to meet with the president of A&R's Naim McNair.
