Jourdan Laik was influenced early on by classical music. It’s from this music that he learned how to listen, not just hear it. This is what attracted Jourdan to this genre and eventually into the world of wanting to share this experience. Jourdan often weaves in classical instruments to give his ambient soundscapes a cinematic feel. Jourdan currently works with Phillip Wilkerson on their duo, Time Being. He has also worked with Michael Allison (from Darshan Ambient) in their duo, Daevine.
