As one of the most exciting new talents in the Australian garage scene, Charlie's obsession with electronic soundscapes began from an early age, where he could be found spending hours scrolling through Yamaha keyboard presets or listening to the reverb-soaked pads of Enya. Throughout his schooling life, Charlie kept his electronic music interests private while he spent time progressing through the grades of classical piano and alto saxophone. His ongoing secret obsession with 2010s EDM, from the likes of Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Flume and Virtual Riot, drew him into sporadic experimentation with FL Studio from around age 16. It wasn't until 2022 that Charlie began to sway towards alternative electronic music and took production more seriously. His self-released debut album, Carpe Diem, was inspired by the likes of BICEP, Duskus & Fred again.. and he eventually felt motivated to spend 9 months in Newcastle, UK, from September 2023 to soak up the underground UKG scene. This move led to a rapid uptake in production output, with tracks being supported by big players like DJ Seinfeld, DJ EZ & Willo, as well as landing gigs supporting Tommy Villiers, BAKEY and many other UK favourites. Charlie has recently returned to Sydney and is continuing to develop his increasingly recognisable signature sound, a timeless fusion of garage and progressive tech that is often likened to recent works by Overmono and capable of bringing both emotion and energy onto any dancefloor.
