Biography

Lora is one of Romania’s top singers, model, judge and TV personality. Lora was part of “Star Factory”, an extremely popular Romanian singing competition broadcast on Prima TV. Before her solo career took off, she was part of Romanian all-girl band named Wassabi (2006), that gained mainstream success with their single “Si m-am indragostit de tine”. On April the 1st 2009, Lora left the band in order to pursue her solo career. Her first solo release was top hit single "Un vis" (2012), a song that quickly earned her first number 1 in the Romanian Airplay chart. In 2013 she released the playful song “Puisor”, which was one of the most successful tracks of the year. 2013 is the year when Lora started her 3-year journey as a judge in Antena 1’s talent show “Next Star”. Later on, she provided the Romanian dub of Dorothy in the fantasy animated movie “Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return”. In 2014 FHM magazine placed Lora in top 3 of the most beautiful women in the world. Two years later, in 2016, Lora won Best Romanian Female Act at daf BAMA German Music Awards. In January 2017, Lora released the HIT Singles Collection, “A voastra, Lora”. 20 tracks that defined her career, top collaborations and no. 1 singles. Her musical career went on with tremendous success through the release of hit singles “Fara el”, “Capu’ sus”, “Arde”, “Draga”, “Ne impotrivim”, “Singuri in doi” (with Peter Pop), “Bine mersi” (with Doddy), “Lasa-ma asa” (with Akcent), “Valul” or “Ramas bun”.
