What started off as making music with a friend in high school in 2001 has led Chan A Win to become one of the participants to take part in an underground freestyle rapping contest in 2003. This also resulted in Chan A Win to become part of a well known underground rap group called FireCracker. In addition to his songwriting and rapping abilities, his involvement in producing most of his group's tracks had made him one of the professional hip hop producers in Myanmar. He has produced hundreds of tracks in collaboration with most of the mainstream and underground rap artists/groups, as well as artists of other genres. As a solo rap artist, he has also contributed hip hop tracks in numerous compilation albums. In 2017 he has released his debut instrumental album "The Instrumentals" which is the selection of the tracks he produced.
