LUCY WOODWARD releases her 7th studio album "Stories From The Dust" produced by Grammy-award winner David Garza (Fiona Apple), her most personal album yet. David and Lucy wrote stories about women -- the unconventional women who raised her and ones she merely observed from afar, in the sandbox or on the subway. Born in London, raised in NY and The Netherlands, her career began singing in NYC cafes for tips while singing commercials and writing songs in the day. Signing her first record deal with Atlantic Records in 2003, she left the pop world as fast as she came in leading her to release Lucy Woodward Is...Hot and Bothered, Hooked! (Verve Records) & Til They Bang on the Door (GroundUP). Lucy recorded Too Hot to Last with Snarky Puppy featured on their Grammy-winning Family Dinner - Vol. 1 album and has toured with them internationally on and off since 2012. She filled in last minute touring live singing lead with Pink Martini singing in Croatian, Turkish and Japanese has sung background vocals with legends such as Rod Stewart, Céline Dion, Barbra Streisand, Joe Cocker and Chaka Khan. Lucy has contributed her vocals/songs to soundtracks such as the Björk smash It's Oh So Quiet - Original Version from the movie Ice Princess. Lucy and guitar virtuoso Charlie Hunter teamed up in 2018 touring extensively throughout the US and Europe releasing Music!Music!Music! (2019) and I’m a Stranger Here (2021), both albums full of blues and vintage pop songs refashioned with deep grooves.
