Biography

Based in D.C, Bryce Bowyn's anthemic electropop, exemplified in tracks like "A Bridge Burned Down" and "Town," blends late 2000s pop with self-aware lyricism. As an audiovisual artist and horror enthusiast, his creations, such as the demonic "Nostalgic" and thrilling "Ruthless" videos, showcase a dynamic vision. Recognized for impactful contributions to D.C's arts scene, Bowyn secured the 2024 Arts and Humanities Fellowship and Projects, Events, and Festivals grant. These funds propel his upcoming EP release, marking a pivotal moment in his musical journey. Inspired by pop legends Madonna and Charli XCX, and 80s synthpop icons Pet Shop Boys and Giorgio Moroder, Bowyn's live performances blend infectious tunes with choreography. From DC's Capital Pride to sharing stages with GIRLI, his nationwide presence is palpable. Bowyn is also the co-creator of Nocturne Hall's audio drama "Dupont Investigations," a podcast helmed by Marc Benjamin Langston. Directed and sound-designed by Bowyn, the inaugural season, "The Scourge from Carthage," explores queer, supernatural noir in 1930s Washington, DC. Beyond art, Bowyn advocates for LGBTQ+ rights and mental health, earning acclaim from Washington Blade, CultureFix, and Songwriting Magazine. Bowyn's impact transcends pop, solidifying his dynamic presence in music and diverse creative spheres.
