AGHAST! were a British Extreme Metal band from North London and Hertfordshire. Formed in 2006 by James Anson, Sam Holmes, Daniel Henderson and Nicholas Plews after a drinking competition at Wacken Open Air Festival of the same year. 
 AGHAST! self-released three EPs and one LP to great acclaim before disbanding in 2017 just before they recorded their second full length album, or just as it was getting serious. 
 They are fondly remembered for being very loud, very fast and very hungry and not in that order.
