KA$ is an up and coming artist from Cleveland, Ohio. While building his rapport as an aspiring rapper, he has quickly tried to immerse himself into a balanced blend of both Hip-Hop and R&B. With influences from the likes of Lil’ Wayne, 6lack, and J-Cole, KA$ attempts to connect with his listeners through heavy lyrics, intense emotions, and relatable real world experiences. Beginning with his debut EP ‘KA$ IS IN $E$$ION’, he showcased his ability to discuss the aforementioned subject matter. Songs such as ‘Jan$port’ and ‘Plottin’ on Peace’ highlight an understanding of life and its shortcomings. However, songs like ‘What U Need’ and ‘Left Me’ display his encounters with women; the good and the bad. With his second EP ‘OVERKA$T’ he pushed his talents to another degree, transitioning into an even deeper introspective look into his world. With records such as ‘IntroVERTED’ and ‘$teamin’, listeners can hear a stark contrast of emotions, as he struggles to deal with the outside world. KA$ is the President and CEO of ‘Free Game ReKord$’, his self managed record label, which he uses to release his individual works.
