Telecommuter is a solo project of Portland-based producer and composer Alexander Margitich. Originally from Northern California, Margitich was raised in the tradition of Eastern Orthodox choral singing and studied improvisational jazz guitar before diving brain-first into contemporary composition at Berklee College of Music. Margitich is now drawing on his textured musical past to form songs with organic origins through electronic presentation. Subtly pointed chord progressions are adorned with colorful samples, sonorous vocals, and emotive lyrics to create unique electronic pop.
