Tomasz Wendt - saxophonist, composer & educator - born 3rd of May of 1990 in Gdańsk -Laureate of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Award -Laureate of the prestigious polish phonographic award „Fryderyk 2017” for best jazz debut - In 2014 graduated with distinction from the instrumental department at the Karol Lipiński Music Academy in Wrocław. Currently a full time student of III degree at Instrumental Department the same school. One of the most talented students of art studies in Poland. -Multilaureate of many awards in jazz competitions in Poland and Europe: - 1st Prize at the 7. International Improvisation Competition in Katowice, 2015 - 1st Prize at the 37. „Key of the Career” in Gorzow Wlkp., 2011 - 1st Solo Award from Radio Gdańsk at the XIV National Competition for Young Blues Bands and Jazz, Gdynia, 2011 - 1st Prize at the III RCK Pro Jazz Festiwal, International Competition of Jazz Music, Kołobrzeg, 2012 - 2nd Prize at the Getxo Jazz Festival , Spain, 2016 - 2nd Award at the 35. Jazz Juniors in Krakow, 2011 - 1st Individual Prize at the Krokus Jazz Festival, jelenia Góra 2014
