Leanne is a London-based singer, songwriter, choir director and creative practitioner. She is part of In Your Words Music, with whom she co-wrote the musical documentary "Isolation, In Your Words". The ambitious project combined verbatim and documentary theatre techniques with lyrical storytelling to tell stories about lockdown, and debuted on BBC Radio 3 in October 2020. As a singer and conductor with London Contemporary Voices, Leanne has worked with Imogen Heap, Felix Buxton (Basement Jaxx), Laura Mvula, Amber Run, Charlotte Church, Orlando Weeks and Eska. Leanne also writes new musical theatre, and composes collaboratively with communities as part of her creative practitioner work.
