4BOUT is a Korean singer-songwriter based in New York and Seoul. Since 2019, he has released music that focuses on dual themes of self-love and loneliness. “I always say that my music is ‘cry together music’,” 4BOUT said in a 2023 interview. “It’s okay to be too much. That’s what my music is for.” 4BOUT’s journey as a musician came gradually. He began writing and recording in New York City for the release of his first EP “Miserable” in 2020, which found immediate success among a dedicated fanbase. His work is ambitious and includes the double album “Fortunate Islands”, the trilogy “ANGER”, “EROS” and “CHILDHOOD”, and the collaborative EP “[OMNIBUS]”.
