Biography

Bavanandan is a London artist. He was the singer and songwriter in the cult UK band Battle in which he was renowned for his onstage intensity and voice. Tired from touring, he created the album movie 'Whiplash Dreams' which became the world's first cinematically-released album. Despite taking five years to make and incurring great cost, 'Whiplash Dreams' remains unavailable to listen to or to purchase. It is reported to have only been heard by attendees of the cinematic screenings. His publisher Sony/ATV describe it as a "lost classic". Though reclusive, he has ghostwritten for multiple artists and was given the the nickname Tyrannochorus by the producer Paul Epworth for his knack with a melody. To date, Bavanandan releases music infrequently and without warning.
