SoulLoops. A half-Mexican, half-Irish man from the South Bay Area of Northern California. Soul is quiet and calm, very reserved. He makes beats in his bedroom studio, applying what he knows musically into his art of sounds. A soul-sampler in the form of a human being, he takes records (mainly 45s) into his lair and chops/loops ‘em til he finds what he’s looking for. He’s only starting his journey. The beginning, taking place in 2018 when he bought his first sampler. An MPC 2500. He saw folks like The Alchemist & 9th Wonder create masterful works of sound with jazz and soul records. He knew then what he wanted to do with his life.
