From Trawsfynydd, North Wales, Haydn began his career in welsh language TV and is known for being part of a welsh language BAFTA nominated four piece band CIC, who also had their own TV show from 2000-2002. Haydn was then later approached and managed by Catalonia founder Rhys Mwyn and released his eponymous E.P. which reached number 2 in the welsh charts. He also won Best Male Solo Artist at the BBC Radio Cymru Rock and Pop Awards in 2002. An established actor and his main passion, Haydn has appeared in TV productions such as BBC 1’s ‘Accused’ alongside Andy Serkis , ‘Doctors’, ‘Stella', playing Ian Brady in the RTS nominated three part series ‘Myra Hindley: The Untold Story and more recently playing ‘Rhydian Chivers’ in Coronation Street. His latest music release is a 20 year old celebration, a retrospect to mark the anniversary of his first release in 2001. Two tracks have been remixed by Haydn himself and a collaboration with Nathan X, who had a number 4 dance chart hit ‘The weekend’ and currently enjoying success at No.9 with his remix of Alexander O’Neal’s classic hit ‘Saturday Love’ featuring Priest J & G.O.B.A.
