Margaret is a classically trained cellist, and she frequently broke orchestra etiquette by rocking out instead. Now she rocks out by simultaneously singing and playing cello. Margaret draws inspiration for her music from her activism around the climate crisis. In 2019, she recorded with musician-activist Madame Gandhi and performed at Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal event. In the midst of writing her latest single “little pieces”, Margaret talked to the writers room of The CW’s “4400” to help inform characters on the TV show who can relate to the song.
