Coming from heavy metal background, Miikka Kivinen aka KMND brings a breath of fresh air into underground dance music scene. His background can be heard escpecially in his earlier releases, such as 'Darkest Days', but also in melodies and atmospheres of his newer songs. KMND started as a half-serious project when Kivinen wanted to explore the world of beatmaking in addition to his heavy metal projects. Making beats escalated pretty quickly and Kivinen switched his full focus into electronic music. KMND isn't a project for just one genre. During his first year of producing, Kivinen has collaborated elements to his music from genres such as trap, synthwave, dubstep, future bass and lo-fi hip hop.
