Songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Thomas Day is doing things his own way. Carving out his sound through a D.I.Y, self taught approach to production, Tom’s music blends together laid back soulful melodies, dreamy chords and hard hitting beats into a contemporary R&B fusion that paints a picture of his own unique musical identity. Hailing from Lincoln, UK, Tom received musical training from a young age, later becoming infatuated with producing his own releases. Taking wide sonic inspiration from the likes of Tom Misch, KAYTRANADA, edbl and FKJ he combines Soul, Hip-Hop and R&B styles together to create an understated groove within his music that oozes confidence and feeling, willing you to bop along with every beat. Significant support from BBC Introducing has seen his music receive continual airtime on the programme, leading to multiple appearances at Beyond the Woods Festival (headlined by easy life & Fickle Friends) and reviews from Fresh on The Net (Tom Robinson Band, BBC 6 Music) comparing single, 'Breathe', to "Sugababes debut single 'Overload' being produced by Tom Misch". 2020 saw the release of Tom’s biggest project to date 'No More Normal', with lead single 'Wine' feat. Tee Peters paving the way for Tom’s sonic development.
