Rashad “R Dotta” Taylor, is a rapper and songwriter from the town of West Ashley in Charleston, SC. A charismatic spirit, R Dotta realized his talent for rapping at the age of 11 and began making remixes to popular songs. Eight years later, he began his music career recording projects and music videos, and performing at shows in his area. A voice that commands attention, R Dotta is a product of southern artistry always creating music with a purpose. Like many of those whom he is influenced by -- Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Curren$y, and Westside Gunn-- R Dotta is a storyteller and lyricist before all else.
