The Japanese new-generation instrumental jazz band led by the composer and pianist Wataru Sato/ Gecko . Their band motto is “Pursuit of new-generation sound” . The 4-piece-band with their attractive technics and ensemble plays pop yet classical melodies of piano, Post Rock and Fusion-like guitar, and crosses Minimal, Jazz and Rock in the beat.They were transferred to the record label “Playwright" in 2019. ピアニストWataru Sato / Gecko を中心に2013年に結成されたインストゥルメンタルバンド。 “新世代のサウンドの追求”をコンセプトに、ジャズ・クラシック・現代音楽を通過した流麗でメロウなピアノと、洗練されたギター、ベース、ドラムが卓越したアンサンブルを生みだす。 これまでにGeckoが主宰する音楽レーベルTokage recordsより2枚のフルアルバムと2枚のミニアルバムを全国リリース。インディペンデントな活動形態でありながらも、2017年12ヶ月に発売した2ndフルアルバム「 Nomadic Flow 」はタワーレコードジャズチャート初登場4位を記録。 2019年に音楽レーベルPlaywrightに移籍し、9月にcolspanとのスプリットアルバム“Color & Monochrome 3”、12月に3rdフルアルバム“The Art of Tokage”をリリース。2021年1月4th“フルアルバム“Borderline”リリース。4度のMotion Blue yokohama公演や、ホールでの単独公演を成功させ、2022 年 中州ジャズ / Borneo Jazz Festival(マレーシア)など国内外のジャズフェスティバルにも出演を果たし精力的な活動を続けている。
