The 23 year old producer and artist brings an authentic sound to R&B. East London's Lati aims to bring a soulful nostalgic sound of the past era’s and mix it with the the modern day sound, with inspiration from producers like Teddy Riley, Pharrell and Devante Swingz. 
 Lati comes from half of his surname, growing up around his pairs that was the nickname he adopted and it stuck with him thru his childhood, when asked about his sound and what inspires him he said ‘I grew up with my parents playing R&B everywhere we went. In the car, house and all the music stations. Through my teenage years I wore my heart on my sleeve and I always looked for a way to express myself. I taught myself to play piano and picked up a lot of music theory from individuals around me. The transition of being know for doing something else and then telling people you are now an artist was pretty challenging, people from the outside looking in will think it’s all for the clout but I consider myself a true musician.' 
 He started his music venture back in April 2019, when asked why so late his response was 'There's no time frame to success'.
