I love to experiment with recycled percussion instruments, making music with daily objects and giving a touch of uniqueness to the songs. I am Brazilian and have lived in USA for three and half years, in South Africa and Mozambique for over one decade and officially living in Berlin since 2017. Since 2004 i am the percussionist and electronic programmer for the group NAPALMA having toured extensively in more than 25 countries (www.napalma.com.br).
Currently i also perform as a live percussionist for the group She knows from Berlin and do studio sessions for different artists and producers. All the travelings performing, producing or recording with different artists exposed me to many life changing cultural and musical experiences, learning different aspects of music at studio/stage and this comes out when is time to create. I think the most important thing is to play with soul, feeling and listening what elements the music needs to sound good.
