Maren Metke is a singer-songwriter who blends the genres of soul, roots, indie, and jazz, with strong vocal emotive dynamism, playing Piano, and Baritone Ukulele, with Voice being her primary instrument. Her music is poetic, filled with themes of nature, and empathy for the human experience. Music has been a vital source of healing, connection, and integration in her life, present in her earliest memories while growing up in the Pacific Northwest. She tours regularly and performs solo and with a full band, balancing her time with her other purpose in holistic human development. She has performed from the western us to Mexico & India, playing festivals, house shows, ceremonies, concert venues, spiritual centers, and more. She performs, writes, and records primarily as Honey of the Heart with her partner Justin where they have recorded 3 live and 2 studio albums and they continue to be in the studio working on the next releases She has had the honor of sharing the stage with such artists as Rising Appalachia, Blues Traveler, Alan Toissant, Taj Mahal, and many local beloved musicians as well.
