Doctor Gosso is a London based band built on the mutual passion for classic jazz, boom-bap, and the Beat Generation poetry. Ever since being founded in 2018, the aim of the collective was to combine the elements of jazz music with the vibrancy and energy of hip hop, in order to create a relaxing and laid back mood for their listeners. For instance, the band's first single Overcrowded Beaches released in 2019 is a perfect example of the sonic marriage between the bossa nova flutes and strings, and cutting-edge synthesized basslines. Since 2018 the duo has been collaborating with other like-minded artists and musicians, becoming an active part of the blooming London jazz scene. 
 Doctor Gosso & Sampler's process revolves around finding the inspiration and capturing the energy of classic jazz, turning it into a modern mix of samples, guitars, and electronic elements. In 2020 the band has been solidifying the aesthetic vision of their sound by releasing Golden Neotropical and Cruising Down the 1st Pacific as well as working with rappers, poets, jazz musicians and other producers alike to put out Lost & Found, What a Dream, an Bonfire Photograms that got featured on Radar India & Jazz in India and Chill Station. DG's guitarist Telica has released his first single Summer Samba. Doctor Gosso's plans for 2021 are all about setting up a year full of collaborations and new music.
