Paul first started going to reggae sound systems in the late eighties to see sounds like Jah Shaka and Manasseh. After making music at home on his four track recorder he released his first single in 1992 on his own label (Sound Business Records) which was produced by Nick Manasseh. He then formed another label with Robert Tribulation called ‘Word, Sound & Power’ and released several albums and singles. Paul continues to work with long-time collaborator, Jonah Dan under the name ‘Shades of Black’ and has also worked with Michael Rose, Rod Taylor, Brother Culture, Alpha & Omega, Unlisted Fanatic and many more artists. He regularly performs on Sound Systems around the UK and Europe as well as performing with the band Dubheart. He has appeared on over 50 releases on various labels performing Roots Reggae, Dub and Conscious Dancehall.
