Biography

Bilal Hassani, 25, singer, songwriter, producer, shares his daily life with over 3 million devoted fans throughout the world. Bilal made the list as one of the 20 most influential LGBTQ+celebrities in the world according to Vanity Fair. He was named personality of the year in 2021 by French Magazine Têtu. He also made the top 40 artists list in 2022 according to Numéro magazine. Called a pop icon by the Inrockuptibles Magazine, Bilal Hassani released in 2023 the reissue (Iconic Edition) of his latest album, Théorème produced by the king of French pop GrandMarnier (Yelle). In 2019, after defending France at EUROVISION with his song "ROI" - a vibrant message of self-acceptance - he released his successful debut album "KINGDOM" and won the NRJ Music Awards for "Révélation Francophone de l'année". T he same year, his first tour was rewarded with an Olympia award. In 2020, he founded his own label, House Of Hassani, and produced his second album, "Contre Soirée", the video for the first single, "FAIS LE VIDE", winning the MTV France Music Video of the Year 2020. In 2021, Bilal was a finalist in Danse avec les Stars season 11, becoming the first person in Europe to dance with a person of the same sex. The French prince of pop landed a first role in "Les Reines du Drame" by the rising queer movie director, Alexis Langlois, set to be released in cinemas on Nov 27, 2024. A second film is also planned for next Spring.
