Ruggo is a young emerging artist coming out of the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, CA. Born on July 20 2002, to a family that encouraged artistic expression and music-making, Ruggo found himself developing interesting early sounds at a very young age. Influenced by the nostalgic songs & memories of the early 2000s, to the rhythmic uptick in new age music, his sound is full of a wide mix of this new generation’s energy and grooves of eras prior. In 2019, Ruggo starts releasing music officially to his discography producing and recording a variety of records with High School friend Andy Cypress. Ruggo was able to create music daily and work on a full body of work, releasing Gifted, with features including GI JOE OMG, theMIND, etc. in 2020. A year later in 2021, Ruggo finally releases a new single with 818 Rapper Vaughnyxocho35 called “Don’t Walk Away,” which amassed wide attention from their hometowns, directing eyes the artists’ way. Soon after Ruggo releases Mellow, an album where he expresses the positions he finds himself in life as a young man. MyGuyMars guided Ruggo’s sound heavily with the Art Dealers, Vol. 1, Art Dealers, Vol. 2 EPs, segueing into newer works such as LINUS — LP, KIM1, KIM2, & KIM3. Ruggo’s fourth full body project “Home 4 Now” is long anticipated and confirmed to be in the works.
