Cayo discovered his passion for singing thanks to friends who wouldn't stop insisting on him to join a salsa group back in school in Colombia. He had always loved listening to greats like Freddie Mercury or Héctor Lavoe. But he never expected to be one for the stage, the idea frightened him beyond belief. Yet through pure peer pressure, one fateful day he started singing the tunes of "Llorarás" - Oscar de León, and with swinging hips, he fell in love with the stage. And so began this journey, inspired by a diverse group of legendary musicians, underground artists and pesky friends, Cayo finds himself exploring the world of songwriting. With radiospace. he has found an amazing group of musicians with whom he can explore the darker and more rock and roll musical corners of his mind. With this solo project, he's looking for danceable tunes with tropical vibes. But evolution and change are constant, so don't expect for circumstances to stay in place.
