In 2019 MAESTRO FRESH WES became the first Hiphop artist inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. Born Wes Williams out of Toronto Canada, he is the first to receive a Juno Award ( Canada’s version of the Grammy Award ) for the success of his 1989 debut album Symphony In Effect.
