Junior Hopewell Nqubeko Gumede "Swiss DJ" is a multi-talented Music Producer, Songwriter & DJ who hails all the way from Mandeni, northern of Durban. Swiss DJ was born on the 27th of January, year 2006 . This young man discovered his love from music at a very young age of 5 years when he always played with CD’s and DVD’s where he even knew how to set his home theatre to quality audio. At the age of 12 years he was introduced to a software in his aunt’s computer and even started to make his own beats. Swiss started being exposed to outdoor Deejaying at his family car wash in Mandeni (BUSY CORNER) and also at another local car wash & Shisanyama (THE SITE). He was then groomed by his hometown Deejays which includes CyetM, Soultouch, Sir Toniq , DJ Bitso & DJ Malu. Swiss DJ is a versatile producer in the music making although his focus is on Afro House & HardcoreGqom as he found potential in Gqom with his song titled “Disco Nap” which gave him more attention & attraction. Growing up, discovering and out ranging his self introduced him to more young talents like him and started collaborating until his song “Disco Nap” made him never lose focus in this music passion as he also have a master-class top tier group named “The Ink Production”.
