Emmanuel Essuman Mensah , known by his stage name Kingzkid, is a Ghanaian artiste. He is credited as being the first artiste to popularize Afrobeats (Afrogospel) and Hip hop gospel in Ghana and one of the few pioneers of the movement on the African continent. He is an inspiration of thousands of youth across the continent and has groomed and nurtured a few young artists who are doing amazing in the genre today. If there is anything Kingzkid is known for, it is that he is a staunch lover of God! He never let’s go of any opportunity to let the world know how much he loves God, irrespective of the genre of the song or stage he performs on. Since the release of his first ever single “I depend on you” in 2010, Kingzkid has executive produced and released 3 impactful studio albums. His first album "Vindicated" was released in 2011 , "Metamorphosis" in 2014 and the “Breakthrough album” in November 2021. He has many awards to his name. The most famous of which are the “ Gospel Academy Awards”. He is the first African Gospel Musician to win the Gospel Academy Awards Best International Act in 2019, “Africa Gospel Awards “Hiphop Artiste of the year in 2018, “Pacesetter of the Decade” award at the “Western gospel Awards 2021”, among several others . He has collaborated and shared stages with numerous gospel musicians, including Sinach, Mali Music, Mercy Chinwo, Tim Godfrey, Limoblaze, Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle, MOG Music, Micah Stampley, among others.
