Raymond Meade is a singer/songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. His music is steeped in his influences from Tom Petty and The Rolling Stones through to Nirvana and Oasis. He's released 4 solo albums and written the award winning BBC Holocaust documentary, The Railway People. Raymond has played across the world and shared stages with countless established bands such as Paul Weller, Queen, Shane MacGowan, The Proclaimers, The Libertines, Kings of Leon and The Fratellis amongst many others. He's also been a member of seminal 90s band Ocean Colour Scene since 2015, playing bass and guitar. Meade's songwriting has drawn many plaudits over the years and is best described as traditional, melodic and uplifting. His albums have featured collaborations with iconic Scottish novelist Iain Banks, Jon Fratelli, Steve Cradock, Bobby Keys of the Rolling Stones, Justin Currie and late Pogues guitarist Philip Chevron. In 2019 Raymond will release a new full length studio album along with 2 EPs worth of new material, featuring Sex Pistols legend Glen Matlock.
