The quartet offers rich and enveloping music, effectively alternating between intimate songs and great epic climaxes, crafted with meticulousness both in terms of texts and arrangements. The songs from their four albums take on their full meaning in a live performance, enhanced by stories told with humor and self-derision by their author. They've been around since 2010, played hundreds of shows including Montreal Jazz Fest and their songs can be heard in dozens of TV shows, commercials and movies. They are completely independent and self-managed. Well, they don't do much in terms of managing their band, to be honest. This lousy bio, for example, is the best they could come up with.
