Born Alex Julius Kwesigabo on 19th January, Flex D'Paper is a rapper, producer, and songwriter. In 2016, Mtv Base named Flex among the top Mcs from Uganda on the #BaseTopMCs Uganda list. His first mixtape, Not For Sale won Mixtape of the year 2017 in Uganda. His song Yenze Aliko won the Song of the year award at the prestigious MTNUGHipHopAwards2019. It was also nominated for the HipipoMusicAwards2019 for Best rap song. In 2020, another win was registered by Flex when his song, Level Up won the Video of the year award at the MTNUGHipHopAwards2020. It was also nominated for the HipipoMusicAwards2020 for Best rap song of the year. In 2021 Flex won the inspirational song of the year award at the MTN UG Hip Hop awards and was also nominated for outstanding hip hop artist of the year at the Janzi Awards
