Biography

Gaida Noreiga was raised in a housing project on the east side of Cincinnati called Winton Terrace. While living there he was constantly surrounded with the harsh realities of crime and gang violence, as well as a slew of construction factories that polluted the local air quality and put his family and him at risk of health problems. Noreiga was determined to make it out and make a name for himself. At the age of 14, Noriega started rapping. In his lyrics he would let out his frustrations and paint a picture of the world he was living in. Over the years his hobby became more serious and he began to perfect his craft. Gaida started gaining some serious traction in 2017 when he dropped his song “Glacier Mode” which was a remix of “Um Yea” by Quality Control. By the age of 19 Omertà had even started his own record label, “Glacier Omertà.”  In February 2019, he bursted on to the  local rap scene with his first mixtape “Glacier Mode”, which has garnered over 200,000 streams on Apple music. Influenced by the likes of Gucci Mane, Young Thug and Future, Noriega delivers a unique style and flow with lyrics that strike hard.  Noriega is now the most prominent rapper in his city of Cincinnati and he doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.
