coming from a family of musicians, FREDTHEGXD (born Frederick Brown) had music in his DNA. always a music lover, he didn't begin songwriting until 2015 & started to record songs toward the end of that year. focusing on truth telling through stories & experiences, his first EP 'Not For Sale' released in 2016 & was well received. he continued to hone his sound up to his next release in 2018, a joint EP 'THEGXDEMCEE' with fellow artist DamarTheEmcee. the EP was considered his best work to date & his growth was evident. he released another EP in 2019 called Sunroof Serenades which was a reconstruction of the original EP due to the crashing of his laptop & an ultimate loss of most his music. 2020 saw his first steps into R&B with his EP For Sentimental Reasons releasing on Valentine's Day, and part 2 following the same day in 2021. he is now preparing for the release of his debut album 'A Day in the Neighborhood' set to release spring 2021.
